继去年8月上海首个中外合作大学——上海纽约大学起航迎新,今年9月上海首家中外合作高中也将正式开学。3月11日,由上海市七宝中学和美国纽约市德怀特学校合作举办的上海七宝德怀特高级中学宣布正式设立,启动招收首批150名10年级学生。这是上海第一所独立设置的中外合作高中,也是中国第一所独立设置的中美合作高中,它的开办标志着上海基础教育对外开放迈出新的一大步,也意味着上海在全球视野下深化基础教育改革发展的新篇章即将开启。
Following the sail of New York University in Shanghai, the first Sino-foreign cooperative university in Shanghai in August last year, the first Sino-foreign cooperative high school in Shanghai will be officially opened in September this year. On March 11, Shanghai Qibao Dwight High School, co-organized by Shanghai Qibao High School and Dwight School of the American New York City, announced the formal establishment of the first batch of 150 Grade 10 students. This is the first independently-run high school for Sino-foreign cooperation in Shanghai and the first independently-run China-US cooperation high school in China. Its establishment marked a new major step forward for opening up its basic education to the outside world and also meant that Shanghai A new chapter in deepening the reform and development of basic education is about to open.
