Two studies in the United States have shown that people who sleep less well than those who have adequate sleep are more likely to be obese because of their ability to screen healthy foods. A five-day study of 25 standard-weight individuals at Columbia University in the United States and their team conducted a four-day or nine-hour sleep-limited study and then analyzed their ability to choose food. The results showed that people who sleep less likely to choose junk food, especially high-fat foods, leading to obesity.
