《道连·格雷的画像》是王尔德一的长篇小说。评论界较侧重挖掘该作品中的唯美主义思想和现代主义因素,对“人性”主题少有提及。本文以存在主义为视角,分析小说中的人物及故事情节,探讨王尔德对“人性”的见解。认为,小说人物的生存境况也是现实中人类生存境况的真实写照,反映了王尔德对人生和人性深刻的哲学思考。
“The Portrait of Dorian Gray” is one of Oscar Wilde’s novels. The critics pay more attention to excavating the aestheticism and modernism in this work, and rarely mentioned the subject of “human nature”. From the perspective of existentialism, this article analyzes the characters and stories in the novel and discusses Wilde ’s opinion on “human nature ”. He believes that the living conditions of the characters in the novel are also true portrayals of the living conditions of human beings in reality and reflect the profound philosophical thinking of Wilde on life and human nature.
