近日,许荣初老师来深圳,看到侯烽民的油画作品,觉得面目一新。拟在学院的院刊予以介绍,需记一短文,烽民嘱我执笔,我与烽民是同行又是老同学,自难推脱。1955年我与烽民同年考入鲁迅美术学院,毕业后分配到南、北二地工作,九十年代初,我俩先后来到深圳,又能经常坐在一起谈天说地,切磋艺术。 烽民自九十年代初,开始在上海与几位同道,经过反复摸索、试验,终于成功地创造了画在宣纸上的油画这一新的绘画样式。像中国画一样,“宣纸油画”经过装裱可成卷轴悬挂,也可装入镜框。画家来了灵感,像国画家一样,随手将宣纸平铺于案上,即可尽兴挥毫。既免去了油画家钉内框、绷画布的繁琐程序,又可解决油画家无处存放大量作品的苦恼。
