众所周知,铸锻出来的金属毛坯,要经过切削加工才能变为成品,这就会产生大量的废钢屑、废铁屑。过去我们是将这些废钢铁屑弃之于露天里,久而久之,堆积如山,这既浪费了国家财产,又严重污染了环境。面对这种现象,我厂党委带领全厂职工认真领会毛主席关于自力更生、艰苦奋斗、勤俭建国的方针,群策群力,试验成功了利用冲天炉熔炼回收废钢铁屑,多年来不断改进,持之以恒。现在,我厂已看不到废钢铁屑遍地堆的现象了,环境变得整洁有序,给人们以轻快舒畅的感觉,实现了文明生产。同时又为国家节约了大量生铁废
