桐乡县大麻公社是我区粮食作物高产地区之一。該社继1956年改春花单季晚稻二熟制为連作稻二熟制以后,又从1958年起积极地扩种春花連作稻三熟制(下称三熟制)。1959年大麻公社种植三熟制早稻13,144亩,1960年又在此基础上扩大到19,223亩,比1959年扩大46.3％,占改制面积的69.7％,占水田总面积的55.4％。并涌現了大批高产典型和丰产单位,如大洋生产队10亩三熟制早秈团头天花落,平均亩产1,002 斤(前作为作油菜栽培的長梗白菜)于4月28日成熟,收油菜籽180斤);又如吉字浜生产队1.12亩三熟制早秈陆才号(前作土油菜观音种)平均亩产931斤;公社試驗場10.46亩早秈陆才号(前作大麦)平均亩产704斤等。本所基点工作組对該社1960年三
