自《巴·拉哈巴苏荣诗选》汉译本面世以来,总有媒体记者和读者问我一个同样的问题:“在蒙古国或者蒙古语众多诗人中,你为什么偏偏要选择巴·拉哈巴苏荣的诗歌?”也有朋友好心地说:“你既然可以翻译诗歌这样不可译的高难度文本,一定可以译好长篇小说,那是如今市场所需的。当然,也是报酬不菲的。”面对这些关注或好意,我是心存感激的。但是,除了需要可以着手翻译长篇的充裕时间以外,我似乎还需要一个契机。这个契机是看不见的,也无法用一两句话来说明,它在我的心灵深处。

However, aside from the need for ample time to start translating lengthy articles, I seem to need an opportunity. This opportunity is invisible and can not be explained in one or two sentences. It is deep in my heart.
