Pancreatic cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive system. Studies have shown that type 2 diabetes is associated with the development of pancreatic cancer in humans. Follow-up of patients with newly diagnosed diabetes in high-risk groups may contribute to the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Recent research suggests that antidiabetic drugs may affect the development of pancreatic cancer: Biguanides may reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer, and long-term use of insulin may increase their risk. Although there is some controversy to this conclusion, there is still some guidance and reference for the choice of drugs in the course of clinical treatment.
