当林志刚踏上上新集这块土地,发现这里的矿产资源异常丰富时,心中就产生了这么一个设想:能否把上新集镇建设成一个建材城。如今金桥建材科技股份有限公司已经成立,它的第一期工程——金桥水泥厂在一年内顺利建成投产,成为上新集镇工业的龙头,带动了全镇10个骨干企业项目的发展,形成了项目群体。上新集镇亦被国家科委确立为“大别山建材科技扶贫示范基地”。1994年,全镇企业产值达1.8亿元,实现利税1500万元,分别比上年增长130％和90％,初步圆了林志刚的“金桥梦”。1995年“七一”前夕,林志刚分别被省、地委授予“优秀共产党员”的称号。
When Lin Zhigang set foot on the new plot of this land and found unusually rich mineral resources here, the mind has produced such an idea: whether to build a new town into a building materials city. Now Jinqiao Building Materials Science and Technology Co., Ltd. has been established. The first phase of its project, Jinqiao Cement Plant, was successfully completed and put into production within a year and became the leader of Shangxin Township. It has led to the development of 10 key enterprises in the town and formed a Project groups. The new town was also established by the State Science and Technology Commission as “the Dabie Mountains building materials science and technology demonstration base for poverty reduction.” In 1994, the town’s output value reached 180 million yuan, profits and taxes 15 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 130% and 90% over the previous year, a preliminary round of the “Golden Bridge Dream”. On the eve of July 1, 1995, Lin Zhigang was awarded the title of “Outstanding Communist Party Member” by the provincial and prefectural commissions.
