我们地区从1973年到1978年底止,在本地区的主要杉木林区里,应用表型选择法,初选出优树1150株;用这批优树在8个县的14个建园单位(国营林场和县林科所)嫁接了1,001亩种子园,供测定的实存无性系977个。大家知道,表型优树的遗传增益,大约只有10~15%,而具有这种显著遗传增益潜力的优树比例,也仅约有20~25%。如何筛选出这批具有遗传增益的优树,这就成为我们地区在杉木良种选育工作中急待解决的关键问题之一。从1974年起,经过五年来的努力,初步摸索出了优树综合鉴定法。它的基本特点是:以无性鉴定为基础,用有性鉴定相验证。一、鉴定方法杉木优树综合鉴定法包括两部分:无性鉴
