天山地质构造给人的印象是:北天山优地槽、南天山冒地槽,中间夹着一个长近1500公里,南北宽10—80公里(最狭处仅5公旦)的一个“中天山结晶轴”。对“中天山结晶轴”的看法,归纳起来在以下三方面分歧较大:(1)变质岩带的地层时代问题;(2)变质岩带两侧深大断裂存在与否;(3)变质者带的构造性质。
