张际亮(1799~1843),字亨甫,号华胥大夫,福建建宁人。道光四年(1824)福建拔贡第一,入京科考报罢;道光十五年(1835)举人,此后屡次赴进士试不第。一生未入仕。他最为今人所知的著作是记载道光初年名伶事迹的《金台残泪记》,民国张次溪收入《清代燕都梨园史料》中,经常被研究道光年间戏曲史者征引。在当年他以诗才名于世,时人说“亨甫生禀异才,足迹几遍天下,风雅主持,一时名贤无不敛手推服”~①,林昌彝称他“天才俊逸,腾骧变化,雄视一代”~②,同光时期朱庭珍《筱园诗话》说他“一代奇
