仙客来从11月下旬陆续开花,如温、湿度合适,每朵花可开20～30天,先后几批开花,花期可延续到翌年3月。花将开放时,要求温度20℃左右;大量开花后,室温就应降到15℃左右,夜间温度不要低于10℃。空气湿度和室温过高也不好,会造成花茎细长,降低观赏价值,缩短花期。花期经常保持盆土湿润即可,不要过干或过湿。花期球茎内已贮存一定养分,同时盆土内也还有一定的肥分,所以,此间不需施肥。
