The design and development of a real-time decision-making management information system for the production of hydropower cascaded power plants are discussed. The overall structure and main functions of this system are introduced, and the design ideas and implementation methods of data communication and processing subsystem and ON-CALL remote paging subsystem are emphatically described. The intelligent real-time information system is a computer-based tool to modern communications and other technologies as a means of production scheduling decision-making management system in power generation enterprises to achieve the power production process control, data transmission, production information records.
