Among the Iranian Studies in contemporary China,great achievements have been made in the historical field:the earliest research of dynastic history of Iran (Persian),the translation and compilation of historical materials of the ancient literature of China and Iran and the study of the general history of Iran.These researches have achieved fruitful results and made the research on Iranian history outshine in the field of the Middle Easte historical research in contemporary China with their inteational academic influences.Delectably,in recent studies on the history of Iran and,with the academic research accumulation and the continuously deepening of research on the dynastic history and the general history of Iran,the field has gradually branched off,covering such specialized studies as the history of Irans foreign relations,social history,religious history and art history,etc.
