中国水墨画历经几千年发展,衍变出独特而自成严密体系的美学风貌,无论是笔墨技法或品评鉴赏,皆衍生出一种精微的趣味。中国画的“笔墨”是学养、人格、技艺浸濡出来的,犹如古玩上柔润的包浆,没有时间的沉淀,没有人生的历练,笔墨不能见醇厚,因而有人视水墨艺术为成年人的艺术,意即在此。陈湘波先生从十余岁始就痴迷丹青,后肄业于广州美术学院国画系,曾先后师从钟增亚、邹传安、陈章绩、林丰俗、陈振国、关山月,工作后一直笔耕不辍,青年时代始就以工笔花鸟
