The topic of HTR project is a national 863 project presided over by the Institute of Nuclear Energy Technology Design and Design of Tsinghua University. The participating units include one and four nuclear industry institutes, two nuclear industry institutes, Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Beijing Iron and Steel Research Institute, Tsinghua University. During the period of the Seventh Five-year Plan, the special topics covered the design of HTGR, fuel element design and research, thorium uranium reprocessing, graphite core structure design, development of key helium and helium equipment, pressure vessel technology, ball bed flow characteristics and fuel handling System technology, high-temperature gas-cooled reactor materials made significant progress or major technological breakthroughs, all
