双胎妊娠的围产期病率及死亡率高,最重要的原因是早产,20-40%的双胎是在孕37周前分娩。这是由于子宫过度膨胀和子宫胎盘血流不足所造成的。为了防止早产曾试过住院卧床休息,环扎术及各种药物治疗,但收效很少。所以对预防双胎早产还没有可靠的办法。作者所在医院1977-1978年(Ⅰ组)双胎的围产期死亡率比1975-1976年(Ⅱ组)有很大降低,作者回顾性研究对这两组病人探索可能改善双胎预后的各种因素。Ⅰ组共105例,Ⅱ组
Perinatal morbidity and mortality in twin pregnancies is high, the most important reason being premature birth and 20-40% of twins giving birth before 37 weeks of gestation. This is due to over-expansion of the uterus and inadequate uterine placental blood flow.
