以大规模时钟集成电路制作的LED数字石英钟,具有走时精确、直观醒目、夜间观看方便等优点,且因其有准确的定时功能,深受人们喜爱。如果利用它的定时信号,控制家用电器定时工作,能给家庭生活带来很多便利。然而美中不足的是大多数时钟集成电路,定时信号脉宽为59分钟,因而电器工作时间也被限定在59分之内,这在实际使用中往往不够。本文介绍的定时功能扩展电路,可扩展原有的定时时间,具有如下定时方式:
