本刊自1981年创刊、国内公开发行以来,已走过18个年头,由于得到了全国交通战线上广大读者、作者的关心和支持,从而变得越来越有影响并受到好评,本刊连续获得河南省科技期刊质量考核优秀奖,并在全国期刊展览中获交通部优秀参展报刊奖,成为国内同类刊物中的佼佼者.本刊为国际连续出版刊物(国际刊号为ISSN1003—4633,国内刊号CN41——1089/u),为符合国际出版标准,决定从1999年第1期开始由小16开改为大16开版本,主要栏目设置有公路工程、桥涵工程、交通工程、交通运输、经济与管理、科技信息等,全年定价为27元.
