During the two years prior to the deposit mining, the Noranda team drilled 109 boreholes, measuring 82635m (21112ft), costing more than $ 10 million and delineating 19Mt ore grade 10.1g / t (or 0.295oz / t) ore reserves. The value of nearly 2.5 billion US dollars (not including 0.1% molybdenite contained in the ore body).
