1971年秋天,马云老师在延安帅范学校教美术,举办一期培训班;我适在部队服役,被派去学习,从而拜识先生。学习刚开始不久,“9.13”事件发生,部队人员全部回营,以后我自己目迷俗尘,心骛多方,未能坚持学画。但是,转徙经年,和马老师的联系却未中断,如今终于都定居于西安,使我得以在请益之间,时窥夫子门墙。 马老师从1954年16岁时进西安美专附中学画,至1965年从美院国画系毕业,其间除1960年至1962年在汕画系和雕塑系任教两年外,不歇气地一直学习了九年。他先读油画系,又读国画系,是典型科班出身的画家。以后在完成一系列创作之后,又考回母校读研究生,可谓半生行迹,全在丹青点染之中。 马老师完成大学教育期间,陕西正有两位画家创作引起中国美术界的注目,一位是石鲁,一位是刘文西。石鲁的《转战陕北》,将千山万壑尽收笔底,表现出一世之雄在历史时空中的定格;刘文西以《祖孙四代》为标志的大量作品,传神写貌,将“陕北人’的独特意态屑微毕显地传播给外面的世界。石鲁是文人画家,幼濡书翰,意趣多方,壮岁投身天地玄黄之变,笔墨之间控驭不仕那股英雄之气,不论是大幅宏篇,还是寸楮零墨,在在透逸出斯人情性;刘文西则是典型的学院派,是五十年代初期那罢黜百家、独尊苏俄的学院派,是要在生活对象面前浑然无我。刘 In the autumn of 1971, Ma Yun taught art in the Yanan Shuaifan School and held a training course.
