额尔齐斯河上中游,自古以来就是中国的水路。对于这条河流的水情有系統的研究,是在十九世紀末廿世紀初开始的。那时我国交通部在許多測点設置了第一批测水站,并且开始了河流縱剖面圖和平面圖的编制,这项工作于1910年完成。河流(水能能源)的研究工作,第一次开始于1920—1925年,后來继续进行了流域各电站的設計勘測工作。其中的哈利乌卓夫斯克和乌耳宾斯克兩个水电站,
The middle reaches of the Irtysh River, since ancient times is China’s waterway. A systematic study of the water regime of the river began in the late nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century.
