在地质勘探过程中,为了取得分层(段、组)的水位、水质、水温等资料,正确地评价水文地质、工程地质条件,必须进行钻孔止水工作。常用的止水方法有粘土止水、水泥止水、桐油石灰止水、牛皮止水等等。为了提高钻孔封闭隔水效果,简化钻孔结构与施工程序,减轻体力劳动,加快地质勘探速度,我们从1972年起,经多年摸索,改进,终于设计了一种较为实用的胶塞止水器。经安徽、江苏、浙江、山东等有关地质队试用,证明封闭效果良好,稳定可靠。一、止水器结构及原理止水器结构(图1)由以下部件组成:
