OBJECTIVE: To understand the morphological changes of damaged blood vessels through arterial angiography of the extremities, and to guide the correct assessment of the extent and extent of vascular damage caused by high-voltage electrocution. Methods Twenty-nine patients underwent selective arteriography on the 26 sides of 17 patients with electrical injury greater than 380V. The changes after vascular injury were observed. Results The impaired lumen stenosis, occlusion, branches diminished or disappeared; partial occlusion of the artery can be recanalized or collateral circulation after decompression. Conclusions Arteriography can observe the changes of blood vessels after high-voltage injury in limbs, which has a certain effect on judging the extent and extent of arterial damage and guiding the clinical treatment.
