电制气技术(Pt G)作为能源互联网中联通天然气网和电网的关键技术环节,可提供一种创新的储能解决方案,在消纳风电、光电等新能源电力方面具有其他储能方法无法比拟的独特优势和适应能力。经过对Pt G技术主要构成和特点的分析,认为技术上是可行的,但基于该技术目前发展现状,整体效率偏低(约60%),制得的合成天然气产品价格至少是市场天然气价格的2~4倍以上,经济性限制了技术的推广应用;对产品成本影响最大的3个因素分别是电价、气价和电解制氢装置费用,经济性问题的瓶颈在于电解制氢装置的效率低和规模小。从电网安全、高效的角度分析,Pt G与目前作为主要储能方式的抽水蓄能相比较,在效率和盈利生存能力方面初步显现出一定的潜在竞争力,有广阔的发展和应用前景。
