With the spread of AIDS from high-risk groups to the general population, college students in China are facing more and more threats to AIDS. Preventing college students from becoming new high-risk groups has become a top priority. Because there is no effective treatment drug and specific vaccine, health education is currently recognized as the most effective means of preventing AIDS. In order to understand the status quo of HIV / AIDS knowledge, attitudes and behaviors among Shihezi University students in Xinjiang, in June 2014, a survey was conducted on 2033 undergraduates in 16 colleges of Shihezi University to analyze the undergraduates’ knowledge of AIDS.
