激光是20世纪60年代初出现的一门新的光电子技术,是物质受激辐射产生的一种高强度相干光,具方向性强、光谱纯、能量密度高等特点,已被广泛用于医学。口腔牙体病的激光治疗一直为人们所关注。激光在牙体病治疗的研究主要涉及牙釉质及牙本质的组织结构的改变及寻求照射的适宜剂量,近年来已深入到研究牙髓病的激光治疗及激光治疗对牙髓组织的影响。一、牙体病治疗对激光的基本要求和选择:牙体病治疗对激光需要两个基本要求:1.适宜的照射剂量,既达窝洞制备的目的,又尽量不损伤牙髓组织或促进牙髓组织修复再生;2.合理的光束传导,即光的运输损失应小,运送带宽、细、轻,能自由弯曲。自1960年Maiman发射出红宝石激光(波长0.69μm)以来,学者们进行了大量的动物牙面照射的实验研究,因红宝石激光很少被釉质表面吸收,穿透力很强,对牙髓刺激性很大,故不用于治疗牙体病。Adrian
