工尺谱是中国民间传统记谱法,直到现在仍在使用,它因用“工、尺”等字记写唱名而得名。工尺谱是我国使用最广的乐谱,从唐代以后的一千多年来,许多珍贵的音乐文化遗产,都是以工尺谱形式流传下来的,尤其那些丰富的民间器乐和戏曲音乐,也大部份是工尺谱记录的。近代常见的工尺谱,一般用“合、四、一、上、尺、工、凡、六、五、乙”等字样作为表示音高(同时电是唱名)的基本符号,对照起来是;
