为了预防放射性皮肤损伤，1996年6月至1997年3月，将放射损伤防护剂2号（RP-2）应用于接受60Coγ射线照射的肿瘤病人，分观察组和对照组观察。结果显示RP-2具有明显的预防放射性皮肤损伤的作用，两组病人放射野皮肤损伤程度经统计学处理P＜0．05．差异有统计学意义。提高了病人的生活质量，减轻了病人痛苦，保证了放疗的顺利进行。
In order to prevent radiation-induced skin damage, from June 1996 to March 1997, Radiation Protection Agent No. 2 (RP-2) was applied to tumor patients undergoing 60Co γ-ray irradiation and observed in the observation group and the control group. The results showed that RP-2 had a significant role in preventing radiation-induced skin injury. The degree of skin lesions in the radiation field of both groups was statistically analyzed (P<0.05). The difference was statistically significant. The patient’s quality of life was improved, the patient’s pain was relieved, and radiotherapy was performed smoothly.
