Various nonlinear programming algorithms have been used in the structural optimal design problem. However, the relative computational efficiency of the algorithm and other possible algorithms is rarely discussed. Some papers discuss the relative evaluation of various optimization algorithms. The objective functions and constraint functions used are simple analytical functions. Because it is difficult to make the algorithm establish a connection between an analytic function and its implementation on a structural function, the application of these results is limited.
