园区八中的前身是苏州市车坊地区的一所普通农村中学,创办于1958年。它地处水网密布的偏僻农村,交通不便,办学条件艰苦。然而50年风雨历程,学校几经属易、数历移建扩建,2004年,车坊中学划归到苏州工业园区,正式更名为“苏州工业园区第八中学”。现有学生700多名,均为车坊地区动迁农民和外来务工者子女。和其他乡镇学校一样,在城市化进程中,园区八中也经历着生源流失,师资薄弱、教学质量下降的困境,但终于在“质量立校、
The predecessor of the Park No. 8 is an ordinary rural middle school in the Chefang area of Suzhou City, founded in 1958. It is located in remote rural areas with dense water networks. It is inconvenient for traffic and the conditions for running schools are difficult. However, over the course of 50 years, the school was easily relocated and several calendars were rebuilt and expanded. In 2004, Chefang High School was assigned to the Suzhou Industrial Park and officially renamed as ”Suzhou Industrial Park No. 8 Middle School." There are currently more than 700 students, all of whom are children of relocated peasants and migrant workers in the Che-fang area.
