不列颠图书馆文献供应中心(BritianLibrary Document supply centre)座落在英国约克郡西部,是不列颠图书馆科技工业部的一部分。它是致力于满足世界各地图书馆需求的最大的科技和专业资料收藏机构,又被称为不列颠外借图书馆(Britian Lending Library)它拥有800名员工,占地2000公顷馆舍,书架总长达200公里。它每年处理325万项需求,总营业额达2100万英镑。其主要服务方式是提供文献外借及复印服务。
The Britian Library Document Supply Center is located in the western part of Yorkshire, UK and is part of the British Library’s Ministry of Science and Technology. It is the largest collection of technology and expertise dedicated to meeting the needs of libraries around the world and is also known as the Britian Lending Library. It employs 800 people and covers an area of 2,000 hectares. The total length of the shelves 200 kilometers. It processes 3.25 million requests a year, with a total turnover of 21 million pounds. Its main service is to provide document lending and photocopying services.
