In August, Qkoukou County was full of autumn and full of eyes. The 1986 China Forestry Summer Camp, hosted by the Chinese Society of Forestry, opened its doors here. Participants in the summer camp included 85 campers and counselors from the Gansu, Ningxia, Shanxi, Beijing, Jilin and other regions such as the Arab League, Bameng, Wuhai, Iran League, Baotou, Hohhot and Wumen.
