据台湾《经济日报》报导:工业锅炉及蒸汽加热系统消耗能源占台湾总能耗量的30%以上,妥善规划节能方案是当前第一要务。耗能量极大的蒸汽系统的节能,主要在于蒸汽系统的供给使用、蒸汽配管和冷凝水回收。实际节省燃油必须从提高锅炉燃烧效率及蒸汽利用效率这两方面着手,必须把注意力全集中于锅炉的效率上。首先,可利用各种锅炉附属设备提高锅炉效率。如:1.节热器。为装置在烟道上用以回收烟道废热的一种热交换器,烟道温度每降低37℃可节省燃油25%;2.使用热管为材料的热交换器,这种方式较先进,空气每提升37℃,锅炉总效率可提高2%;
