It is well-known that listening, speaking, reading and writing are the four basic skills required for English learning and use of the language. It is an important form of communication among students and an important foundation and means by which they can form an integrated language use ability. However, the old English listening teaching patterns in senior high schools, the poor quality of listening teaching and the low level of students’ listening ability have severely affected their overall English proficiency. Therefore, it is very important and necessary to strengthen the training of students’ English listening ability.
