The article analyzes the characteristics of the 4 km pursuit team in men’s field from energy metabolism and physical characteristics of athletes, deepens the understanding of the winning rules of the project. The paper summarizes the advanced experience both at home and abroad, and proposes the differences between the 4 km men’s 4-km team pursuit race and the 4-km individual race for the men’s stadium. He believes that high-quality aerobic training is an important prerequisite for achieving excellent results. At the same time, the article also specifically analyzed the physiological characteristics of men’s 4 km pursuit team players, and pointed out the specific characteristics of athletes such as height, weight and maximum oxygen uptake.
