In early February and early March 1993, the International Institute for Life Science held a special symposium on the risk assessment of aluminum and Alzheimer’s disease, exposure to magnetic fields and cancer in Brookings. In the meeting, Doll (UK) and Trichopoulos (United States), scientific advisers of the Institute of Dangerous Science, and famous epidemiologists, presented their epidemiology on the relationship between environmental exposure to Alzheimer’s disease, exposure to magnetic field and weakly positive correlations with some cancers The research is analyzed. They both emphasized that some of the flaws in these methodologies must be considered in discussing these findings, as well as those in favor of studies that publish positive results while ignoring the negative results.
