目的 :探讨细胞凋亡调控基因在良性前列腺增生症 ( BPH)发病中作用。方法 :应用免疫组织化学结合计算机图像分析方法检测 18例正常前列腺 ( NP)和 6 2例 BPH组织中 bcl- 2、bax、Fas和白细胞介素 - 1β转化酶( ICE)表达。结果 :上述 4种蛋白均主要分布于上皮细胞。 BPH上皮细胞的 bcl- 2表达显著高于 NP,而其他 3种蛋白表达均显著低于 NP。BPH的上皮面积百分比与 bax和 ICE表达之间均呈负相关 ,而与 bcl- 2 / bax比值呈正相关。 BPH的 Fas表达与 bcl- 2表达和 bcl- 2 / bax比值之间均呈负相关。结论 :多种细胞凋亡调控基因参与 BPH尤其是其上皮细胞增生的发生发展过程
AIM: To investigate the role of apoptosis-controlling genes in the pathogenesis of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods: The expressions of bcl - 2, bax, Fas and interleukin - 1β converting enzyme (ICE) in 18 cases of normal prostate (NP) and 62 cases of BPH tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry and computer image analysis. Results: The four proteins were mainly distributed in epithelial cells. BPH epithelial cells bcl-2 expression was significantly higher than NP, while the other three kinds of protein expression were significantly lower than the NP. The percentage of epithelial area of BPH was negatively correlated with the expression of bax and ICE, but positively correlated with the ratio of bcl-2 / bax. There was a negative correlation between Fas expression and bcl-2 expression and bcl-2 / bax ratio in BPH. Conclusion: A variety of apoptosis-controlling genes are involved in the development of BPH, especially epithelial cell proliferation
