American educational psychologist Thorndike had done a “hungry cat feeding” experiment. A hungry cat in a cage, and the fish hung out of the cage, hungry cats out of reach of the fish, so find ways to open the cage door keep trying, continuous failure. After many wrong attempts, it occasionally stepped on the switch that opened the cage door, took the food, and ate it. In repeated experiments, it decreased the number of wrong attempts. According to statistics, for the first time after 160 seconds of error attempts, after 24 times, just 10 seconds to open the cage door. This experiment shows that cats who want to get fish have to try to open the door (learning motivation), they must learn how to open the door
