今年以来,呼伦贝尔盟在总结和吸取陈巴尔虎旗特尼河地区重大毁林案件教训的同时,为了严肃认真地贯彻执行中共中央、国务院《关于制止乱砍滥伐森林的紧急指示》精神,先后组织林业,纪检、司法部门和有关单位的五百三十多人,组成一百零九个工作检查组、专案调查组,分别深入全盟林区、农村和牧区各地,检查、处理近两年来发生的乱砍滥伐和盗伐国家森林以及倒卖木材的各类案件,并且进行了彻底清查和严肃处理。呼盟森林资源丰富,但是遭到的破坏也很严重。十年内乱,造成的无政府主义,给森林资源带来严重的破坏,影响至今没有被肃清。
