方豪先生曾在“马相伯先生事略”中述及筹建“函夏考文苑”。本文试图修正方氏文章中的两点论断:(1)创议函夏考文苑的时间是在1912年10月,不是1913年;(2)不能说函夏考文苑在宗旨、规模与性质上类似于1928年成立的中央研究院。
Mr. Fang Hao was in “Mr. Ma Xiangbo strategy” mentioned in the preparation of “letter Xia Kowen Court ”. This article attempts to rectify the two points in Fang’s article: (1) The letter of the proposed letter Xia Kao Yuan is October 1912 instead of 1913; (2) It can not be said that the letter Xia Kao Wen Yuan is similar in purpose, scale and nature to Central Academy of Sciences, established in 1928.
