广昌县2004年被授予“全国治安先进县”的称号,从1990年开始,连续13年获抚州全市“社会治安综合治理评比”第一名,全县连续26年未发生过群体性事件和械斗纠纷事件,是全省的“社会综合治理先进县”及“江西省预防青少年违法犯罪教育基地”。而广昌县检察院的“青少年维权岗”可以说在该县政法系统更是引人瞩目:2004年被最高人民检察院、团中央等单位授予“全国优秀青少年维权岗”称号,2005年被省、市、县三级分别授予“杰出青少年维权岗”称号。
