英语写作教学一直是英语教学中的一个难点。而对于教授英语基础甚为薄弱的高职生则更显艰难。本文以我校计算机专业学生参加2008年高职高专学生应试能力A级测试作文题为例,收集他们在英语作文中的错误,然后重点探究其产生的主要原因。结果表明,语内干扰和语际干扰是导致错误的两个主要原因。而且语际错误(由于本族语干扰造成的语言错误)较语内错误相对显著。文化习俗干扰是语篇结构错误产生的主要原因。以此帮助广大高职英语教师能够了解学习者对语言掌握的程度,帮助了解学生学习中存在的共同的问题,希望这些能够对促进教师的教学及学生的学习有所帮助。
English writing teaching has always been a difficult point in English teaching. It is even harder for higher vocational students who teach English to be very weak. This paper takes the A-level test essay questions that students majoring in computer science in our college take in 2008 as examples to collect their mistakes in English essay and then focuses on the main reasons for their occurrence. The results show that the two major causes of error are interlingual interference and interlingual interference. And linguistic errors (errors due to native language errors) are more pronounced than in-language errors. Interference with cultural practices is the main reason for discourse structure errors. To help the majority of vocational English teachers to understand the degree of learners grasp the language to help understand the common problems in student learning, I hope these can promote teachers’ teaching and student learning.
