Objective: To compare and analyze the clinical effect of single-hole and double-hole drainage in the treatment of chronic subdural hematoma. Methods: A total of 130 patients with chronic subdural hematoma admitted to our hospital from January 2011 to March 2014 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table: 65 patients in each group, The patients in the single-hole group were treated with modified single-hole drainage. The cure rate, length of hospital stay and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results: There was no significant difference in cure rate between single-hole group and double-hole group (P> 0.05). The hospitalization time of single-hole group was significantly less than that of double-hole group (P <0.05), and the difference was statistically significant The incidence of postoperative complications in well group was significantly lower than that in double-well group (P <0.05). Conclusion: Compared with double-hole drainage, single-hole drainage for the treatment of chronic subdural hematoma is simple, less traumatic surgery, can speed up the disease rehabilitation process, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
