In recent decades, radiotherapy tools have continued to make significant progress and the dose distribution has reached a desired level. High-LET ray has been widely used in many countries, and promising negative pi meson beams are also being used in some countries. Radiation therapy is brewing new progress. From the standpoint of the development of radiotherapy, radiation physics and radiobiology, the requirements of radiotherapy physicians for radiation physics are almost satisfied, and the key to the progress of radiation therapy in the future is radiation biology. Radiation therapy uses radiation as a tool to achieve biological effects through the action of radiation energy on living organisms to achieve the purpose of treating diseases. We must not only master the physical properties of the tool, but more importantly, we must understand the biological organisms it produces.
