Research on discrete integrable systems has rapidly progressed in recent years.Among the integrable two-dimensional difference equations,one elementary class contains the Nijhoff-Quispel-Capel (NQC) equation[1] and Adler-Bobenko-Suris (ABS)lattice equation[2] that are defined on an elementary quadrilateral and are multidimensionally consistent.These are one-component equations.Here,multidimensional consistency[2-4] means that one can add a third dimension and extend the definition in a natural way from a quadrilateral to a cube on which the maps are consistent.There are also multi-component lattice equations that are of 3-D consistency.
