易斜地层的方位偏斜是钻探施工中经常遇到且不易预防的技术难题,有色系统广西、陕西、甘肃的几个矿区,因孔斜引起的年报废进尺多达千米以上,经济上受到巨大损失,有的矿区因严重孔斜而无法对深部进行勘探,影响了矿区勘探进度。地质因素是这些矿区产生孔斜的主要原因。地层特点普遍为薄层状,软硬层,陡倾斜,控造发育,岩性以片岩、千枚岩、灰岩为主,钻孔方位偏斜一般是有规律的向左(逆时针)或向右(顺时针)迅速偏离勘探线,但有时在同一矿区的不同区段,甚至同一钻孔的不同深度,由于岩层产状的变化,方位偏斜
