语言学家的任务是研究语言的内在规律,社会语言学家的任务是研究语言同社会的关系,而心理语言学家的任务是研究人们在运用语言时的心理过程和语言习得等问题,因此他们在不同程度上都要对语言进行研究。研究语言面临的问题之一就是语言样本的问题,所以他们都对口语与书面语之间的关系感兴趣,因为对二者之间的关系的不同认识会直接影响到语言研究的取样。
The task of linguists is to study the inherent law of language. The task of social linguists is to study the relationship between language and society. The task of psycholinguists is to study the psychological process and language acquisition of people when using language. So they all need to study the language to varying degrees. One of the problems with the study of language is the problem of language samples, so they all are interested in the relationship between spoken language and written language, because different understanding of the relationship between the two will directly affect the sampling of language research.
