《中华人民共和国职业教育法》指出:“职业教育是国家教育事业的重要组成部分,是促进经济、社会发展和劳动就业的重要途径。”在我国经济发展“依靠科技进步和提高劳动者素质”的战略转移过程中,职业教育担负着极为重要的任务。就总体而言,教育周期性较长,一般是“今天的教育是明天的经济。”然而,相对说来,职业教育办得活,见效快,实则是一种“今天的经济。”因此,有真知灼见的领导者,办教育必定要办大教育,必定在抓好整个教育事业的过程中,把职业教育放在突出的位置上。
